Kia

The beginning of the Korean Kia car company's activity can be considered 1944, when it began to produce bikes. Already in 1957 Kia is launching a scooter and was soon running the motorcycle industry. In the early seventies with an increase in release of the company products brand gets a new name - KIA Corp.

Two years later Kia Motors has acquired the company Asia Motors and proceeded for the production of passenger cars, trucks and vans. In the early eighties Kia produces cheap car Pride, which was based on the Japanese Mazda 121.

In the early nineties Kia enters the European market and receives a new name - Kia Motors Corp. Together with the new name company gets international recognition and founds a new production in Japan and the United States.
