Peugeot

The French company Peugeot in 1890 released its first four-wheel car with an internal combustion engine (Daimler motor). In 1896 Armand Peugeot produces society of Peugeot cars - Societe des Automobiles Peugeot. Already in 1900 the company produces twenty thousand bicycles and 500 cars. After five years was developed a new affordable car «Bebe», complete with a single-cylinder engine. Three years later Lion Peugeot model gets on the Targa Florio race first prize. At the time in 1913 Peugeot is releasing half of the cars in France and in the world market of automotive occupies a leading position. In the creation of Peugeot 403 car took part firm Pinifarina from Italy. Auto was released in 1955. Peugeot 204 is a serious competitor in the class of mini cars of other brands. This model was equipped with a diesel engine minimum. The company produced this model until 1995.
